Q: HEY! I'M FROM FLORIDA AND I WILL BE VISITING (IM ON THE PLANE NOW!) TO ENGLAND! YAHHHH! I HAVE ALWAYS WANTED TO GO, BUT ANYWAY MY QUESTION IS WHAT CAN I DO? LIKE WHAT IS THERE TO SEE? WHATS THE LINGO?FOOD?WERE SHOULD I GO?HOW ARE AMERCIANS PERCIEVED MY FRIEND TOLD ME THAT BRITS THINK THAT WERE ALL "COWBOYS" THANK YOU IN ADVANCE! we will be going to london liverpool(beatles) manchester(?) and someplace called woo or moo or something like that! and when i mean lingo its just when i was watching an english movie they had odd words, such as bobbies,blokes(?) birds,sarny,it was funny! oh and what IS tea-time? not too sound like an idiot im just exited!
A: Obviously there's lots to do in London and down South, up North there isn't a lot to do but the scenery is great, and I prefer the people up North. I've met Americans from all over, great people if not a bit loud :) Oh, and be prepared for bad weather, it isn't like Florida around here. We've had rain all summer :( Edit: Watch out for the thieving Chavs, too. Tracksuits, baseball caps and will probably have crap music blaring out of their phones. You'll know what I mean when you see one. Edit 2: Ah Manchester I live near there, great place to shop, be sure to check out the restaurants there, they're great. There's a few cool museums there too. Enjoy anywho. Tea-time = dinner, as in evening meal.
