A: None that I know of. St Patrick's day is celebrated in other countries too, so it's not just Irish. We do have several public holidays throughout the year, called bank holidays, on which banks, businesses and schools are closed. These are: New Year's Day St Patrick's Day Easter Monday The 1st Monday in May The 1st Monday in June The 1st Monday in August The last Monday in October Christmas Day St Stephen's Day (the day after Christmas Day) They're not celebrations though, they're just public holidays and a nice day off school/college.
