A: Because not everyone is Christian? Since Thanksgiving is not a religious holiday, everyone celebrate it at the same time. It's more of a celebrating of family and love more than anything else. Plus it would be really weird for all the Muslim, Jew, atheist, etc to be celebrating Christmas wouldnt it?
