Q: I really don't know what to do. My husband wants to go spend Thanksgiving with his family in Florissant,Missouri while I want to spend Thanksgiving with my family in Greenwich,Connecticut.He really wants me to go with him to Florissant and I want him to go with me to Greenwich,but I know he'll probably get mad if I spend time with my side of the family(he's like that).Should I go to Greenwich with my family or to Florissant with his family?What would you do in this kind of situation?I'm totally stumped!
A: Me and my husband alternate years. One year we'll go with my family, the next with his. Also, the family that we don't spend Thanksgiving with will usually have a big meal the Friday after so everyone who couldn't come on Thanksgiving can get together. Happy Holidays!
