Q:

A: MANY countries celebrate Thanksgiving in one form or another. In many countries, agriculture is VERY important to the people. So they celebrate the end of the farming season with some sort of festival. In many countries, they simply call it Harvest Festival. I am living in Taiwan, and the people here call it Mid-Autumn Festival. The families get together and have a HUGE barbecue. And the traditional stories surrounding the holiday are interesting to learn about. It would be nice if teachers back home in America and Canada would teach their students about how other countries celebrate Thanksgiving.
