Q: How do you celebrate it ? Isn't it just dinner with the family? What is the meaning or object behind it? In other words why?

A: It is a political holiday and it is in remembrance of the establishment of the nation. commemorating events in a nation's political history. For people who are trying to remain nutral as to politics it would seem to me that would not be something you would want to do. John 18:36 Jesus answered the romans saying "my kingdom is no part of this world." John 15:19 "If you were part of the world, the world would be fond of what is its own. Now because you are no part of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, on this account the world hates you." 1 John 5:19 "the whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one." Sure Satan wants us to commenrate political stuff but does God? So who do you want to please?
