Q: My family is usually together on Thanksgiving. This year is so different. We are going to a restaurant. Everyone seems to be doing their own thing. From a hurt Mom of 5.
A: AW so sad! I can't even imagine having a holiday without family. I grew up in a family of 8 and I can't remember not one time have we had a family member gone on a holiday. But this year will be different for our family too. We are going to Kansas City for Thanksgiving and leaving my brother at home. He recently got a new job and he can't take off work for 80 days. So it will be sad having a Thanksgiving without him. My mom is most sad about it than anyone. God Bless You!
