What are your thanksgiving traditions?

Q:

A: I do all of my baking of desserts on the day or evening before. Thanksgiving morning around 5 or 6a.m. I get up and put my turkey in the oven. Have coffee and wait for the parades to come on. By the time everyone else is up, I have enough pie because since my kids were little, they always wanted a piece of pumpkin pie for breakfast. By the time the house is smelling of turkey, I'm hearing "when are we going to eat?" Football is on tv (yep, I'm a football lovin' wife) and after everyone has eaten themselves into oblivian, we chill in front of the tv. Christmas movies are usually on Thanksgiving Day also. I'm having a house full and I'll be exhausted but I'll love every minute of it. A lot of pool will be played, a lot of tv watched, a lot of food eaten and a lot of naps. And even though we're not even hungry, we go and eat a turkey sandwich, because it's there. The next day, we Christmas shop.
