Q: We're hosting Thanksgiving for the very first time, and it's going to be potluck. Here's the menu thus far: Turkey (Smoked) (Baked) Stuffing Bread (Rolls) (Pumpkin bread) (Parker House rolls) Potatoes (Mashed Potatoes) (Sweet Potato Casserole) Veggies (Salad) (Green Bean Casserole) (Broccoli Salad) (Corn) Fruits (Fruit Salad) Pies (Sugar-Free Pumpkin) (Lemon Meringue) (Cherry) (Cheesecake) (Magnolia) (Pecan) (Pumpkin) We're serving 16 people--all family. It's going to be crazy! Should we include scalloped patotoes? Is there anything we're missing?

A: Ice cream, whipped cream, coffee, and gravy. Maybe some wine, kahlua and baileys. I too do a big spread every year. Usually the family and friends arrive about hour or two before dinner so I serve veggie trays, warm spinach dip and a relish tray. One year we had 20 people. I had to drop a dressed turkey off at a guest's house the night before and told them to bring it back cooked. I need two ovens. The new addition to my menu this year will be candied Acorn Squash, and home made cinnamon ice cream.
