Q: eat with for thanksgiving dinner ?
A: Since my family is scattered to the 4 winds and overseas. I was going to sit and have a quiet night at home, and watch t.v. but found something better. back in September, a friend of mines house was struck by lightning. Even with insurance, they still had ot of pocket expenses. They didn't know, the lightning had done more damge until their house burned. The insurance once again stepped in, but it took time, now their house won't be ready until mid december, and since they spent a lot of money themselves, they do not have any left to travel home for the holidays. Since my roommate is going to see his friends, I have the house to myself, so I decided to cook them a traditional family thanksgiving, I have been picking their brains to get their favorite foods. This will be better than going to a restaurant, or eating take out, plus it will give them a couple days before and after they don't have to stay in a hotel.
