A: Hello, I'm from Ohio too and our state has lots of resources. Many food pantries will give you a Thanksgiving box which will have a turkey, some potatoes, et cetera. Call the local Family Services office and they should be able to point your sister in the right direction. You didn't ask about Christmas, but you may want to tell your sister that there are many web sites out there that help needy families get sponsored for Christmas. The sponsoring family purchases gifts for the needy family. Happy Holidays!
