Q: Please don't simply say, I get hammered. Most of us do. Instead of stating you get drunk; elaborate. For example, my fiance' and I spend the weekend in Boston, go to a Dropkick Murphys Concert, drink Guinness, and go to the parade in Southie. I love Boston on St. Patrick's Weekend. I put together an outfit with different shades of green, I use green eyeliner and eyeshadow, I put green ribbons in my hair.... Besides drinking and partying; We go to church. We listen to old Irish Folk songs, we make a boiled dinner and invite our friends over for a feast. I decorate the house with shamrocks and bring out the green table cloth...... How do you celebrate St. Patrick's weekend? What are some of your traditions?
A: I wear green & babysit the grand kids so my kids can go to the local parade & hang out with their friends. The grand kids & I watch the parade on TV & look for their parents. And come meal time I slip a drop of yellow & blue food coloring in the grand kids glasses. When milk is added it turns green. I tell them the leprechauns did it. The grand kids LOVE it!
