Describe the taste of Guinness?

Q: Do you like it? Is it an acquired taste? Can good Guinness truly be found in North America?

A: I know for some people, Guinness is something of an acquired taste. I'm fortunate enough to not be one of those people. I enjoy it very much. I live in Minnesota, and it's not exactly the biggest selling beer. I enjoy the rich flavor, with hints of chocolate, and coffee in the back ground, and the velvety texture it has. I wouldn't know if it's as good in North America. I would imagine no. Beer is always best fresh, right from the brewery. Great question.
