Is it wrong to celebrate St. Patrick's Day if you aren't Irish?

Q: I have often gotten remarks when I wear green on St. Patrick's Day here in the US. Although, I'm not Irish (that I know of) I like to join in the celebration! I enjoy the parades and love to listen to Irish music while I down a Guinness or two. I figure that many Irish-Americans had a rough time when they first immigrated to the US, back in the day, and the fact that they are not discriminated against any more is a reason for celebration! What do you think?

A: We welcome you wanting to celebrate with us, I have found there are two kinds of people those who are Irish and those who want to be. So I raise my glass and says cheers.
