Q: ...in England but not St George's Day? The pubs all go mad for St Paddy, but there is no sign of anything on April 23rd.
A: because Guiness have marketed it really well for years, and that is a drink that is identify solely as irish. Also we as a nation percieve the Iris has up for the craic - and we want to buy into that. also we love getting drunk so any excuse.
