when is st. patty's day???

Q: idk when it is and im really bored so yeah i need some tips on what to do to cure my bordom too! :)

A: Saint Partick is celebrated on March 17 for chasing the snakes out of Ireland. It is pure myth, but fun. We have taken it as a reason to get drunk and stupid, but done right, it can be a happy celebration of the Irish people and their country. I remember being bored about 50 years ago and it was terrible! Now in my 70th year I find I have no time to be bored. Soon, I will die and I haven't read all the books, seen all the sights nor said I Love You nearly as often as I should. I have found great pleasure in volunteering at the animal shelter, gathering clothes for battered woman and their children, learning to make jewelry, taking photographs, knitting stocking caps for homeless persons, going to local wineries on tasting trips, researching my family history on the WEB and corrosponding with friends, old and new. Why not learn about Ireland, it's history, culture and people? History is not boring to intelligent people. Celtic lore is very big these days. Try my sister's webside, she makes Celtic clothing for their Faire's www.celticmoonrenaissancewear.com Go to a Renaissance Faire. They are a blast. Google Celtic Woman music. Don't waste your tiny time on earth being bored!
