Q: I want to know what I would need for a St. Patricks day party with kids around 13 years old. Also activities and maybe snacks ect.

A: Pick up bags of gold chocolate coins as favours, or just to scatter around. Have kids tie-dye t-shirts. Let them bake & decorate butter cookies in theme shapes. Send them on a scavenger hunt for elven boots/fairy wings, etc. that you've hidden (try the miniature crafts section at Michael's or A.C. Moore). Compile a list of facts about elves etc., another one about Ireland and a Gaelic pronunciation sheet. Snacks: Irish potato candy, scones with toppings (strawberry jam, clotted cream, butter), Irish soda bread, chicken pot pies, lamb stew. Apple cider would be a great quaff. Have fun!
