Q: Has anyone ever felt not welcome still today when going to an Irish bar for St. Patrick's Day by the Irish crowd in there? It happened to an Indian friend of mine when they pretty much ignored her and it also happened to a bunch of Italian friends I know. Have you experienced this yourself?
A: Of course not! It's a day where everyone can celebrate Irishness, or even if you're not Irish, you can join in and be an honorary Irishman. St Paddy's day is a party open to everyone. And if you know the words to Whisky in the Jar, more power to you!
