Q: Since St. Patty's Day falls on a weekday this year, is everyone going on on that day or on the weekend before? I want to plan an event to get my old friends together and I want to know which day we should all meet up. If it is on St. Patrick's Day, wouldn't that be difficult, seeing as most people have to work the next day? Your input please..... thanks!
A: For Catholics, St. Patrick's Day will be celebrated on Saturday...Mar.15th... this year because of the Holy week before Easter. (Easter falls on the Mar.23) Most communities would have had their parade on the 15th anyway rather then a weekday, so it's just as well.
