A: St. Patrick's Day IS a public holiday in Northern Ireland as well as here in the Republic. The Welsh Assembly should be lobbied to make St. David's Day a public holiday. The Welsh are a proud and passionate people and deserve a national public holiday. Just don't beat us (Ireland) in the rugby next week!
