Q: I was under the impression that "Patty" is a nickname for Patricia and "Paddy" or "Packy" are nicknames for Patrick??
A: I'm from Chicago, it's Paddy. They even named a police waggon after us. It's called the "Paddy Waggon". Not derogatory, only to thin skinned Mc's. Happy St Patricks Day!
