A: St Patricks day is the day when the whole world is irish! Quite annoying actually. It was celebrated in respect to St. Patrick a saint of ireland who is said to have cast out all the snakes form ireland. They celebrate his day, because he is their patron saint. The color of green just comes from Green as being Irelands some what traid mark. It really doesn't have much to do with the actual day.
