St Paddy's Day!!?

Q: I just saw a question that said in America they eat corned beef and cabbage on St Paddys day! We never eat that in Ireland!! I think they need to learn about what we actually do do in Ireland!! Oh and this year Paddy's day is celebrated on 15th March by the church (because of Easter) ........ but in Ireland will our parades be on 17th and will the matches be on 17th aswell? We means the majority of the Irish nation! We eat; Bacon and Cabbage or Stew We usually go to Mass in the morning, then to the parade and after the parade go to a pub and get dinner and eat. Although me and my mum and bro go the club final matches in Croke Park (hurling and football) though we only go if a Galway or Derry team are playing! St Paddys Day is a celebration of him coming and helping Ireland, it is a celebration that he is the patron Saint of IRELAND. It's not celebrated because he was a Catholic.

A: Corn beef and cabbage.... is a dish created by the Irish and brought here... and this is what we eat to honor the Irish... I am Irish and proud. And I will be eating corn beef and cabbage on March 17th.... But this is a great question as I have never thought further to wonder what the Irish really do on St. Patricks Day. Thanks for the info.
