A: dear void of paddy's, Sorry for the lost of your partner. I strongly suggest you and your family to put the bad memories behind and put the good memories ahead of you through everyday life as well on St. Patrick's Day. I am Irish and the Irish sayings of is that we the Irish people believen in mourn for the new borns that come into the world because they will go through many trials of life of pain, heartaches, losses, failures, sickness, diseases, many other trubulances and even death. But, to rejoice the passes (deaths) of families, friends, and folks because they will no longer suffer. That they are in a better place. So tend we the Irish go to funerals in sorrow and after the funeral we hit the bars and celebrate the life of the lost one we have shared many good things and memories to carry thier flame. Not only that of St Patricks Day is a drinking thing. It is a religous celebration of St. Peter that have given the Irish people religion, faith and hope. Also, to be able to accept, understand, and cherish life. Please I ask you and the family not to grieve anymore on the loss of your partner. I don't know your religious background ,but I think you should go before the alter on the morning of St. Patricks and pray for your parter to give closure for him, you and your family. You can make this and holiday for yourself to do every year on St. Paddys to always remember the good...never the bad. I am sure this will put your life back into good spirits and back to your normal celebation on track. Until get the beers in and I will make sure I pray for you, your family and your lost Partner. Kind regards and cheers, Sedy
