A: St. Patrick was romanobritish which means he was born in Britain to a wealthy family. He was captured by Irish pirates and sold as a slave,in 432 he worked as a Shepherd on a hill called Slemish. After six years he escaped and returned home only to tell his parents he was going to Europe to study to be a priest. In time he became a bishop and returned to Ireland to bring cristianity to the Irish. He lived the rest of his life in Ireland and is buried in Armagh were you can still visit his grave.
