Q: I'm Irish as in Irish from Ireland not American and my grandfather is Irish. I answered a question about what you do on St. Patricks day and I said it like it is in Ireland, we watch a parade, drink lots and meet friends and wear lots of green. 100% true. I mentioned that the Clover has nothing to do with Irish culture as I noticed another answerer mention this weed. - foreignors confuse the shamrock with the clover I've noticed. Is this why I got 3 thumbs down? Very bizzare when what I said is fact. ok..the shamrock is supposedly how st.patrick taught christianity to the Irish....the clover has nothing to do with Ireland at all and is an entirely different plant.

A: yeah but it gets confused not cos of shamrocks but because of leprechauns and 'Irish luck'
