Q: whats it about

A: St Patrick was a young lad born in Wales in England. He was kidnapped and sold into slavery in Ireland. Ireland was a pagan country at the time. Patrick worked on a mountain herding sheep and it was here that he had his first vision from God. After nine years he escaped his captors and fled back to Wales. But God appeared to him again and asked him to go back to Ireland and convert the natives there to Christianity. He did this and died on March 17th. Ireland is a predmoinatly Catholic country, he became the patron saint and his feast day is celebrated on the 17th of March.
