A: I am Ulster-Scot. aka Scotch Irish. I celebrate by honoring my heritage and my family. I remember that the Scotch Irish helped found America. I am trying to take in the more literal meaning of St. Pat's day by remembering the history of Ireland and my own family's history. March 17th remembers St. Patrick. 3-17 is the day of his death. St. Patrick introduced Christianity to Ireland.
