Q: For my club at school (a high school) We need to come up with ideas for the fund raiser and we wanted it to revolve around St. Patrick's day. Any ideas?
A: Do candy grams--take a peice of shamrock candy, and let students buy them for their friends for say, $1 each, then they get a public gift of a candy and a note from their friends while in school. Sell them during lunch, then hand them out during homeroom on St. Patty's day or something. You can do that for any holiday, etc. It's basically a peice of paper (can be green or whatever) with a one sentence note from a friend and a peice of candy stuck to it. My school used to do them for plays, and your parents/friends/etc. can buy one for you before the show, and during the intermission, they took them backstage and gave them to the cast. You can do them for anything.
