Q: a muslim, a very nice one at that. When i met him, he asked me to accept him. then he spoke with 2 of his friends/family to act as a witness for an islamic marriage. after which he said, i now consider you my wife. there must be loyalty between us. he cant see me at the moment cos, its the holy month. and he sends me texts and calls everyday. BUT i have now been told by one of my christian mateys..that this is what arabic blokes do to have women outside of a legal marriage, so that they dont sin before allah they class it as a marriage..... is he playing with me. im really not sure. he has called also to ask to meet my father...help please, before i run like hell !
A: RUN!!! your good common sense and instincts are kicking in,they are never wrong! And make sure your family and friends know what's going on so if anything happens, they will know to take action. This isn't about a cult,this is about some guy telling you a bunch of nonsense and manipulating you to get what he wants. As old as time. And much more scary when it happens to you!!
