Did anyone watch dispatches on C4? undercover mosque?

Q: Some religious leaders and iman's were saying how muslims shouldn't mix with non-believers, that women shouldn't travel without a chaperon, women shouldn't work with men, women shouldn't use contraception etc. Now I know not all muslims believe this rubbish and this is not aimed at you. However for all the muslims that do believe in these things I have one message for you GO HOME! If you don't wanna mix with us don't come here, if you don't wanna work then stop producing children and expecting the government to take care of them. It makes me really angry that people from a different faith and country come to my country and say these things. This is England we don't live like that! You can't come to this country and tell us how to live. This is a christian country and always will be. Women will work if they want to, drive if they want to, have children when there not married if they want to! I'm not against any race or faith, everyone has a right to believe what they want. If I visited a muslim country I would respect thier way of life, I would cover my body if they wanted me to and follow whatever was the law there. I certanly wouldn't start preaching my beliefs, i would keep them to myself. I don't agree with pushing religions on others. Many muslims tell me that these things are not in the quran and are mis-interpreted. Views from all sides please??? Anita- U raised some good points. Yes I do think everyone should have equal rights requardless if their faith, race etc. I just used the fact that this is a christian country to make a point coz they were saying the way women live here is wrong. Crazybabe- What are you talkin about? I'm not judging all muslims the same. That's why I am askin EVERYBODY for their opinion and beliefs. Yes I do think of this as MY country - sorry if that offends you. You may also see it as YOUR country, that's your right. Some people may say that France is their country but they live in England. There is nothing wrong with that. And I'm sorry but I also believe that people who choose not to work but claim benifits for there children are spending tax payers money. I think your wrong at just about everthing actually as I have contributed to this country, I have worked and paid tax all my adult life. I have done voluntary work and raised money for charities. So your wrong about that aswell.

A: I agree with you, Nobody should be force feeding the religion to others, all you should do is advise and Educate someone who is interested in your religion. Allah is the decider, if you are meant to be a Muslim you will be. I do not agree with the none working thing, we live in a world where you need money to survive, God loves hard workers and people who live an honest and straight life, raise their children well and look after the home/ family. The Media will always pin point the bad in everything, you never see a programme outlining the good that Muslims do and the Beauty of Islam. In every walk of life you get good and bad people no matter what religion, colour, creed, FACT. I think the main reason Muslims choose not to mix with non Muslims as the common ground is lost, culture and Religion will always clash - people live differently, i guess allot of Muslims will avoid mixing with Westerners because they have different views, habits etc...i.e avoiding the risk of temptation as English people like to drink and smoke (not all just giving an example) Muslims like to learn from each other, a unity and respect for each other. I never have a problem mixing with Non Muslims as i used to be one, i understand from both sides of the argument, at the end of the day it's a clash of culture, views, Religion etc etc. It's good that you respect other people, i think that allot of people could learn from you, unlike allot of people on here you have tried to understand it from both sides and wish to receive both sides of the argument, that shows maturity and a higher intelligence than most on here.
