Q: What is Sunnah to eat, and healthy to eat during ramadan to make sure you have energy and stay healthy whilst you fast? My mom knows alot about food and nutrition etc, so she tells me alot as i go along, but i know alot of people don't know little things that might help them through Ramadan. So if anyone knows any tips, please let us know! A few from me are.. Sunnah - eat 7 almonds every morning, they give you the protein and stuff that you need for the day. (9 for guys i think) Common sense - plenty of water in the morning to keep you from dehydrating lol Supposedly - try not to drink tea in the morning because it makes you thirsty. Do you know any moreee?!

A: My tips are: For longer-lasting fullness, eat both a carbohydrate and a protein e.g porridge and an egg. Along with water, drink this rehydration formula; 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp sugar and some lemon juice dissolved in 1/2 hot water, 1/2 cold water. This will keep you hydrated for longer. Make sure to brush your teeth afterwards! It makes such a difference to your thirst levels later. And last but not least, leave yourself plently of time to eat without rushing too much o avoid indigestion. After all, we'll be ding this for a month, so it's important to look after the plumbing.
