muslims, do you have any special celebrations/preparations on the eve of ?

Q: Ramadan, that you do specifically with your family ?

A: Celebrations, No. Preparations, Yes! Celebrations, if any, are more Cultural than religious. Preparations, are for: -Sehri (Morning Meals) before dawn breaks, -Some of us go to Tara'we'h Prayers to recite entire Koran in the month of Ramadan. A good reminder of God's message. Tara'we'h Prayers are usually combined with the 5th prayer of the day, that is, the Night Prayer. Actually fasting time is from Dawn until Dusk. Wherein Muslims, men & women, refrain themselves from even the lawful that includes the Meals (most evident part of fasting), refrain from Sex (with wives of course). Actually Fasting is an attempt to cleanse our inner self for the sake of having a pure heart & faith.
