How come when I ask a question who's answer is not found in not found in the Qu'ran...?

Q: ...or questions that require you to 'think,' I get accused of having very little faith or not being a 'true' Muslim? Even though I am a 'new' Muslim, I am not expected to know everything overnight. I haven't read the WHOLE Qu'ran as of yet. So what normally happens--are new believers not allowed to ask questions and only allowed to follow faith blindly, or are questions allowed? I know it sounds 'rude,' but I'm not trying to be rude--I seriously want to know. FTL--you speak a lot about slander, but aren't you doing that to me right now? You've answered 2 of my questions and both of them start out how I am slandering and finding fault. If asking a question is "finding fault" then take it how you want. If you find fault in what I'm asking, then that's not my problem--that must stem from a guilty conscious.

A: of course not, asking questions is very important. that is the different between Islam and Christianity. Christians are asked to just follow without questions. and if they do, then they will end up finding the answers which prove that Christianity is not the true religion of God. like when they say 3 is 1 and 1 is 3. now, if you did not ask questions, then you won't be using your mind which Allah has given to you, to distinguish between the Right Path and the wrong path. BUT... you have to ask questions whose answers you need not just out of curiosity, then that is the wrong thing. As Allah said in the Quran: "O ye who believe! ask not questions about things which, if made plain to you, may cause you trouble. But if ye ask about things when the Qur-an is being revealed, they will be made plain to you, Allah will forgive those: for Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Forbearing." "Some people before you did ask such questions, and on that account lost their faith." The previous verses were revealed when they began to ask the Prophet (s) too many questions. so my point is, questions like "What does God look like?" or "Why is the Duhr prayer just 4 rak'at and not more?" and stuff like that, which will not help you strengthen your faith in Allah, on the contrary, it will harm you... and its answer won't help you in any way. either way, you will pray the Duhr 4 rak'ats as Allah ordered us to. we have to carry out God's orders without questioning them. May Allah guide you...
