Q: Im a shia muslim, and i hear people talking about taraweeh prayer. what is this, and should i be doing it? or do shias dont do it? if so why dont shia do it.

A: Tarawih is a prayer during the nights of Ramadan that last between 8-20 rakats. Its sunnah and recommened to do. But shias think its Bid'ah. Here are hadiths on it http://www.usc.edu/dept/MSA/fundamentals/hadithsunnah/bukhari/032.sbt.html#003.032.227
