A: Do you know a shelter in your area for people without homes or abandoned wives? Orphans? Any neighbour in need? Go to any of them. Anywhere there's someone who could use a hand. I tend to beware of collecting organizations, even at the masjid, unless I know the people I'm giving it to. In the time I've been going to mine, we've had two members of majlis replaced for taking from the treasury. Apart from that, the masjid often spends on frivilous things. Painting over fresh paint, etc. You never know where its going.
