Q: I'm a new muslim...16 at that. I'm really harsh on myself about being the BEST Muslim I can be. I do wudu, try to pray when my mom isn't watching even though its hard because she isn't accepting, wear my hijab, quit playing my violin of 6 years, read the Qur'an pretty often or everyday, READ on Islam every chance I can get, dress more modestly, and avoid EVERYTHING that is HARAM? ***I am confused as into what is CONSIDERED ANCIENT HARAAM OR NOT?
A: I have to agree with "The Sage"! This is a Passover section not a Muslim section. BUUUT to answer your question I think you are trying very hard to follow your own religion and beliefs and that's good. So I do not think you are being conservative. You are just doing what is natural. Mr. Jeff
