Q: The obvious one is if a person does not believe in God anymore they're not Jewish anymore. What are the rest of of the points?
A: There is a difference between being a Jew and being jewish. Being a Jew is a fact of birth, or of a choice to convert to Judaism and once established can never change. However, whether one believes and/or behaves jewishly is another thing altogether. Thus one cannot stop being a Jew...ie there is no escape clause in Judaism. However, one can stop believing and behaving like a jew and thus not appear to be 'jewish'.
