Q: the holiday for jewish people
A: It is the day that the Jews were to take the blood of a first born male lamb ( allegory of Jesus to come ) and mark the door with the blood. It was to be a lamb without blemish and there is a whole ceremony on how they were to eat the lamb. At midnight when the spirit of death came through the city to kill all the first born males of the egyptians anyone inside the house with the mark of blood from the lamb were spared regardless of who they were.
