A: There IS Kosher for Passover baking powder. It's special because it contains no corn starch, which is not pesadik. The ban on leavening refers to the fermentation process, so the K for P baking soda is actually considered fine. K for P baking soda is a bit of a rarified item, and it is difficult to get unless you have a good Kosher grocery store near you, so you will find very few recipes that use it. (I go to the Buthcherie in Brookline, MA)
