are you allowed to use electricity on passover?

Q:

A: Passover is made of two Holidays one week apart. (one was the 20th, the other one on the 27th). The days between them are called "Hol HaMo'ed" (something like "normality of the holiday"). The holidays themselves are like Sabbath (i.e. Orthodox Jews do no use cars, operate electric/electronic equipment etc.), but the days between them are quite normal (except for the dietary restrictions).
