Q: Ok so obviously kosher l'pesach wine is fine but what about other alcoholic beverages? I don't keep passover too strictly - I mean, I'm not sure if our wine, for example will be kosher because I don't live with my dad and although you're supposed to (unless there is a problem such as health), my mom might not drink very much (maybe 1 glass or so) wine due to health issues. During pesach there is a HUGE party (well a concert but it's a house/electro concert so it's basically a party) and I was wondering if there is any alcoholic beverage I can drink without really breaking pesach. I'm not very educated/smart when it comes to the actual process of making alcohol such as vodka (although I'm pretty sure that contains some sort of chumetz) :D so I was hoping someone on here could help me out... Anything would be appreciated!

A: Wine of course is safest but you should avoid grain alochols like Vodka as you say, beer and whiskey are also from grains. I think Rum is made from sugar cane so in theory should be okay, not sure about tequila. I think liquers should be safe. But wine, or teetotaling is safest.
