Q:

A: For me, it is spilling the ten drops of wine for the ten plagues. I think it is a great lesson that our cups can never be completely full as long as people anywhere are suffering, even if those people are our enemies. And when I was a little kid, I got this wonderful feeling of being permitted to do "naughty" things. Stick a finger in my drink (grape juice back then)! Toss drops on my plate! And it was OKAY with my parents and family?? Woo-hoo!! As an adult, the naughtiness of it is gone, but the lesson remains. Like the entire Hagaddah story, it is good to remind ourselves that the festival of our freedom ties us to all of humanity. Good luck!!
