Q: My birthday is November 2nd and when looking at my calendar I noticed it said "Day of the Dead (Mexico) " What is the day of the dead? Is it like Halloween? Just curious :)
A: I always thought that Nov. 1st was Day of the Dead and that's why all the spirits go out the night before - Halloween. Nov. 1st is a Christian holiday, All Saints Day, which is similar.
