Sweet 16 Pool Party?

Q: My 16 Birthday is in about 3 weeks and I need some help. Please keep in mind I am on a somewhat small budget ($200-$300 max). I am having a pool party and our pool is about 30 to 31 feet around. I want to invite 7 or 8 of my friends. I don't really know the kids from the school I'm currently attending, but I some to come. I want to play some games at my party to get to know them, and for them to get to know my other friends from my other school. Any ideas? I want to have this party in the evening and I have no idea a theme for the party. I don't want a beach theme. But, I've ran out of ideas. I was thinking maybe having lighted lanterns that line the railing of our deck, but I don't know a theme that goes with. I also need ideas for the games and food options. Anything that's cheap works for me! If you have any ideas and suggestions, please write! I'd really appreciate it.

A: Okay, firstly, is the weather going to be fine? If so, then your pool will be okay. Food options, cheese and grapes on sticks is lovely - if your going for something fancy. If not pizza and chips is fine. Sausages and rashers and things like that. Always have vegetarian options! Drinks you can get alot of plastic cups and stuff put all drinks on the table and stuff. Theme- it's a pool party. Everybody is going to be in their bikinis or whatever? How can there be a theme to that? Remember if their your friends they won't mind. Friendship makes fun! Happy birthday! (:
