Q: This girl said she couldn't go when we were going to the pool, but now that we are going to the movies she can all of a sudden go. I would have been fine with it, but she just let me know, and the party is today. The problem is car space my moms car can hold 5 people. The driver, shotgun, and 3 in the back. Which means 5 people in a 3 seater is not ggoing to be pretty. What should I do, because i know someone will be complaining.
A: Ask the other girl not to come. Tell her that because of the short notice, you didn't make plans for her so it won't work out. Apologize, but be firm enough that she doesn't think she can tag along. Next year, set an RSVP date. And stick to it.
