Q: Im turning the big 1 8 on 9/10 and well thats a big day for a man to turn other then 16, and well, what I'm asking is: is it right to celebrate it wen you know the next day is going to end up bad because of 9/11... i don't wanna be happy then sad the next day... What should I do? I really want to celebrate it on the 10th but at the same time I don't want to feel bad the next day. please help.

Don't be ashamed to celebrate your life on the day before a bad anniversary. Life is what it's all about, for you and for everyone. Celebrate the life you have, the opportunities for good you can make for yourself and others, and the joy of being here and being 18. No better tribute can be made to those whose lives were lost than to live your fullest and treasure the gift of life.
