Q: My sister is having her thirteenth birthday soon and she doesn't know what to do. She doesn't like sitting around and talking, she always has to be busy. If you could, list at least 3 themes for her thirteenth birthday and at least 4 activities to do. I need help soon since her party will in less than 3 weeks. P.S Her party is a sleepover!
A: try doing an at home spa! my best friends sister did this for her 13th. its a great age. you can get face masks at your drugstore (dont forget the cucumbers!), as well as lotion. paint each others nails. do each others hair. get a girly movie. also, you could do an awards theme (oscars, academy awards, etc.) she handed out trophies to all her friends for various things (i.e. biggest blonde blooper, best awkward moment) for experiences that she has had with them. its a great excuse to wear a cute little dress and drink sparkling cider. have them sit down to a more elegant dinner... even if its just pizza, you can put candles on the table or something. disney theme. decorate an "under the sea" theme, with blue and green streamers from the ceiling and little stuffed animals of crabs and such. do an "esmerelda's hideaway" with comfy pillows and dim lighting like a gypsy might have. put a heel on the front step (cinderella-esque). put a rose in a vase (beauty and the beast). create a disney trivia quiz and give a disney movie or something to the winner. play disney music all night. and of course there's Scene It Disney. then, watch some classic disney movies! hope this helped.
