A: i'm assuming you don't want to have it at your house.. but have you considered a friends or relatives? depending on where you live, there are some sweet clubs you can rent out sometimes. also, think about renting out a hotel room, having a party in it/sleepover with room service and pool access.. holla! ummm what else is there.. rooftop parties are always AMAZING, i'll give you the idea and leave it up to you to find the rooftop of an apartment building/hotel :P if you want something a little more on the cheap side, what about a nearby beach? you can find private beaches easily with a little bit of searching.. usually people stick to one part of the beach, but sometimes you can find a little cove off on its own that would be perfect for parties! and what about a park? outdoor parties are always fun! you could think about doing it at your house, but having a theme, and making it an outdoor thing? my friend had a "mascarade ball" themed party in her backyard (decorated with the chinese lanterns mentiones below) some lawn chairs, and everyone was dressed soo nice, it was a blast. ummmm try doing it downtown? if you want to have your party at a restaurant. my friend told us to dress up in our best dresses and meet her at her place. her mom had rented a limo (you can skip out on the limo part if it's too expensive.. but it would really be the only expense you'd pay, and it'd give you the feeling of being a princess for cheap!) when we got out of the limo we were at a Mcdonalds downtown. they had rented out the party room! it sounds ridiculous, but honestly it was one of the funnest parties I've had! we had the limo for a while after we were done eating, so we used this time for some photoshoots and downtown driving - every girl loves to pretend their famous right?! as i mentioned above, wherever you decide to go you should decorate it with some of those chinese paper lanters. SO trendy and fashionable for a sweet 16. have fun, and happy birthday!
