Q: What should I have for my 21st Birthday theme? It's going ot be small with a couple of friends and family including my grandparents. I love cats and bright colours, music and chocolate.. Maybe something along those lines but it doesn't have to be. Also what are some fun games to play, nothing corny please.

A: You could have a "bad taste" party, ask everyone to hit the local charity shops and find the worst outfit possible, trust me it is so easy and cheap to do. You could give points out for the most colourful, the cheapest etc the possibilities are endless! And the pictures will give you a giggle for years. You could do all the old favourite kids games like pass the parcel, prizes could reflect the bad taste theme. Other games could include musical statues, pass the balloons between the knees, musical chairs. Another good theme is to hold a casino night. You could dress up like gangsters or something along those lines, serve proper cocktails and have poker and roulette. I know that dominoes aren't exactly "casino" but they are good fun as well. Its a bit more expensive but could be really glam. Or, a seventies theme, with all the clothes, fantastic disco music and you could cater appropriately, serve things like prawn cocktail and steak diane, cheese fondue is always fun! You could really go for it. Maybe you could find a lot of inspiration on the internet, depending on the ages of either your parents or grandparents they could probably give you some ideas too. They will remember it! :) Out of all of them I prefered the bad taste theme, seriously funny and embarrassing :) Whatever you decide to do, hope you have a lovely birthday and Congratulations on finally getting the "key to the door!" Good Luck x
